Embedded Systems & AI Developer

About the Role

This is a technical development position designed for candidates with a strong foundational background in software and systems. You will be onboarded across our AI platform — covering AI pipelines, data fusion, Linux edge deployment, sensor integration, and system testing — then placed into the technical area that best matches your strengths and project needs.

No prior AI or domain-specific experience required. Strong fundamentals and willingness to learn are what matter.

Required Skills

Programming

• Intermediate Python — data structures, OOP, scripting, working with third-party libraries
• Comfortable writing automation scripts, data processing pipelines, or test harnesses
• Git version control — branching, committing, pull requests, resolving conflicts

Linux & Systems

• Comfortable at the Linux command line — file system, permissions, processes, networking commands
• Can install packages, manage services, read logs, and troubleshoot a broken environment
• Basic networking awareness — IP, TCP/UDP, ports, firewalls, SSH

Data & APIs

• Understands JSON and structured data schemas — can read, write, and validate them
• Familiar with REST APIs — can call an endpoint, interpret results, and understand request/response patterns
• Comfortable working with data from files, databases, or streams

Math & Analytical Thinking

• Solid grasp of basic statistics and probability — means, distributions, confidence, error rates
• Comfortable reading technical specifications, requirements documents, and architecture diagrams
• Strong debugging instinct — can isolate a problem methodically rather than guessing

Communication

• Can write clear technical notes, test results, and documentation
• Comfortable asking questions and working within a team under technical oversight

Nice to Have

Any one of these strengthens the application:

• Any experience with a machine learning library — scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, even a tutorial project counts
• Exposure to embedded hardware — Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Jetson, or similar
• Signal processing, DSP, or physics background
• SQL or database experience
• QA, test scripting, or any formal verification work
• Experience with Docker, systemd services, or Linux packaging

Education

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Data Science, Physics, or Mathematics — or equivalent demonstrated experience through work, projects, or self-study.

Bootcamp graduates are considered if they can demonstrate strong Python, Linux comfort, and a portfolio showing systems-level thinking beyond basic web development.

About the Role

Handle customer calls and resolve software-related issues. Responsibilities include ticket management, help system updates, and basic website building and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, self-starter, organized team player
• Experience with ticketing systems
• 2+ years of website maintenance experience
• Good references required
